Tabletop birthday puzzles
The lighthouse’s six letter tiles are mixed up. Solve six paper challenges to put them in their places and reveal a birthday message.
Read clues aloud, compare repeating symbols, solve number and word puzzles, trace a route on a printed grid and put deliveries in time order. Write each numerical answer beside its letter on the crew record. Swap reader, solver, checker and recorder roles after each challenge.
Read the host guide on page 2 first. Print pages 3–10 for each team and put them on a table with pencils. Give players pages 3–9 first. Keep the hints and answers on pages 11–12 private, and hold final page 10 until all six answers have been checked. No cutting, hidden clues or special props are needed.

Read the mission aloud. Everyone can help; share roles if your crew has fewer than four players.
Work through the six challenges in any order, recording answers and swapping roles after each one.
Ask the host to check every answer. Then use final page 10 to place each letter by its answer number and read the birthday message.
The host checks all six answers, every teammate explains at least one solution, and the crew completes the final message together.

The English-language puzzles are designed for ages 8–11, with an adult organizer available. Teams have 2–4 players. Larger parties can use several teams. Try the free mini-mission to judge the fit for your group.
